by Arwa Aljifri

All of the students dream to be sponsored by their country to go and study abroad, but they have to overcome many obstacles before reaching that dream. One of the obstacles that sponsored students face is activating their insurance card. The following are the steps you need to take to get an Aetna’s insurance card.

Getting an insurance card might not be the first step you take; however, it is one of the most fundamental tasks. One of the reasons you need an insurance card is because in case of an emergency, which requires going to the hospital; anyhow, the insurance card will cover the expensive coasts.

The first step you take is to get in contact with the insurance company, which in this case is Aetna, and provide them with your national ID number; to get in contact with Aetna dial 1-866-236-1038. After contacting them, they will provide you with an insurance card number. Following that step, you go to Aetna’s website www.Aetnainternational.com and sign up with the insurance number. Then fill in your information. After completing all the required steps, wait for 6-10 business days for the card to come in. In the mean time, you may use the insurance number, or you can print a temporary card that occurs in the website.

This might take some time; on the other hand, it will assure your health costs and make sure that you have a safe education trip.
